Cops arrest another ‘PH’ rapist

A 21-year-old man who raped a woman by using the modus operandi of a serial rapist in South Trinidad who is at present in  police custody, has been arrested. The man, a steelbender of Debe, reportedly copied the serial rapist’s style by posing as a ‘PH’ driver, abducting his victim and taking  her to a dirt road where he sexually assaulted her.

According to police reports, around 7.45 pm on Friday, a 21-year-old woman  was waiting for transportation at Harris Promenade, San Fernando, when she  boarded the man’s car. She asked to be taken to her home in South Trinidad. However,  the man took her to a dirt road off the M2 Ring Road - the same area the serial rapist took some of his victims — and raped her.
