St Clair’s take over Tobago football
CHAMPS St Clair’s Coaching School climbed to the top of the Warner Group of Companies-sponsored Tobago Football Association Premier League when they crushed Pepsi Hills United 8-1 at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacolet, Tobago. Makan Hislop, the prolific Kareem Robley and Keno Procter each scored doubles while Deon Orr and Downie Marshall got the other goals for the double-crown champions, while Keyun Boatswain got the consolation goal. And 1976 FC Phoenix whipped Charlotteville Unifiers 4-2 also at the stadium earlier, to keep in touch with the leaders. Desmond Cox, Hayden Clarke, Selvon Turner and Delano Davis got one goal each for Phoenix, while Kewvern Murphy and Che Burris got goals for Unifiers. Three other games scheduled on Tuesday were postponed because of inclement weather.
