Rejected lover chopped in love triangle

A SANGRE Grande man is now in critical condition at the Sangre Grande District hospital after being chopped several times by a man who was in the company of  his former lover According to reports around 2am yesterday, Francis Phillip, 44, went to  a St Joseph Street, Foster Road, Sangre Grande house where he found a man in  company with his former live-in lover. He confronted the man and was chopped on his face, back, neck, stomach and abdomen.

The bleeding man was rushed to the SGDH where he is warded. According to police reports the  injured man had gone to the house on Friday night to deliver something to the woman, when he saw her with the man . He said he returned on Saturday night and again saw them together. After waiting several hours he went into the house when he was chopped.
