The hunt’s on for full points

WITH MATCHES postponed on Wednesday due to the threat of Tropical Storm Emily, the top four teams in the Sportworld Super League will all be vying for three points as Round 10 action takes place today. Leaders Police will have a tricky match-up against the inconsistent PLIPDECO Caroni at Gilbert Park, Couva while Crab Connection will have a good opportunity to maintain pressure on Police, or even take the lead, when they oppose the struggling Stokely Vale at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Tunapuna.

Defending champs Joe Public, the Eastern Lions, can pocket an additional three points with victory against second-from-bottom Maraval Youth Academy at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella while Superstar Rangers can also put pressure on the top three with a win versus Couva Players United at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva. Mid-table outfits WASA Clean & White and Angostura 1976 FC Phoenix will oppose each other at the WASA Ground, St Joseph while M&M Harvard squares-off against cellar-placed Media 21 FC at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo. All matches will kick-off at 4 pm, with the exception of the contests at Marabella and Couva, which will begin at 6.30 pm.
