St Clair’s back on top in Tobago

Champions St Clair’s Coaching School, still smarting from their defeat by Speyside, rebounded with a 7-4 victory over Bethel United at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacolet, Tobago. With it they regained the lead in the Warner’s  Group of Companies-sponsored Tobago Football Association Premier League. Prolific Under-21 national Keon Daniel netted twice and Deon Orr added another double, while Malcolm Roberts, Denzil James and Makan Hislop got the other goals for Coaching School. Curtis Winchester with a double and Dwayne Marcelle and Jason Surrey scored for Bethel. And Charlotteville Unifiers made home advantage count when they shut out Roxborough Lakers 2-0, with Kevern Murphy scoring both goals.


Mason Hall Police Youth Club scored double victories. They edged 1976 FC Phoenix 1-0 at the Dwight Yorke Stadium with a goal from Dexter Matthews, and on Thursday at Canaan No 1 Ground, they shut out Stokelyvale 2-0 to leap-frog into sixth position on the table from last. In Eastern Conference action, Earlbrokes swamped Northside Combined  9-0 at Richmond, with both John Waldron and Lawrence Clarke scoring hat-tricks, Brindsley Reid, two, and Orlando Kerr, the other. And Hope Village Milan eked out a 3-2 win over Argyle Youth Stars at Dusty Park, with Desmond Duncan scoring twice and Rory Carruth the other goal for the winners. Ryan O’Neil and Jimoke Sheppard got the Argyle goals.
