Sadiq, should be main man
THE EDITOR: After hearing Mr Sadiq Baksh at the launch of the Progressive slate of candidates for the upcoming executive elections, I am more convinced that he is the man to lead the party into victory in the next general election. Just listening to him, one can tell how much he loves the people of this country and how sincere he is in wanting to make this country a better place. He is not just about talk. Since he entered the political arena, he has been walking the walk. He knows the people, he understands their plights and he is compassionate towards their needs. I have personally seen him walk into a village where with just five people he held a meeting offering advice on how to solve some of the infra structural problems in that village. He is an excellent organiser. Kelvin Ramnath is certainly fooling himself if he thinks that he could take that position from Sadiq. Sadiq Baksh is charismatic and has the ability to influence people in a positive manner. He is definitely the man to take the party and country forward. J SCOTT Port-of-Spain
