Hart to speak at Trincity Cricket awards Saturday
MEMBER OF Parliament for Tunapuna and Junior Minister of Culture and Community Development Eddie Hart is scheduled to deliver the feature address at the 35th annual presentation function of the Home Construction Limited (HCL) Trincity Cricket League. The award ceremony will take place at the HCL Organisational Development Centre, Orange Grove Road, Tacarigua, on Saturday from 6.30 pm. There will be prizes on offer in three categories — the Sonny Rampersad Evening competition, the HCL Three-Sunday competition and the HCL Saturday Limited Overs competition. In the Evening competition, Triumph Cricket Club is expected to collect the winner’s prize with PYO as the runners-up, while Dinsley Cricket Club emerged victorious in the Three-Sunday contest, with Burnley Sports Club as the runners-up. And, in the Saturday Limited Overs event, Triumph prevailed, ahead of Burnley and Hangover Sports Club.
