Cricket Board stage inductee graduation


SIXTEEN young cricketers from across the country will be graduating on Friday at 7 pm at the Sir Frank Worrell Cricket Development Centre, Balmain, Couva.


This is the fourth batch of youngsters who would be graduating after attending an Inductees Class at the centre for a one-year period.


The inductees are usually exposed to basic skills, an analysis of the game, concentration, fitness, nutrition, media management, mental focus, stress, and computer literacy among other disclipines.


The course was conducted in three phases at the end of which they will receive Certificates of Participation.


Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Roger Boynes has been invited to address the graduation ceremony.


The Inductees Programme is a project of the TTCB which has been described "as an essential part in the developmental process of young cricketers."


The graduates are Manoj Sirju, Jason Mohammed, Rishi Bachan, Anderson Bryce, Darrol Marchan, Kerwin Mohammed, Kervon Christ-mas, Shastri Samaroo, Petrock Nicholas, Magnum Nanan, Kareem Mohammed, Dion Bennet, Keegan Roy, Mario Belcon, Jeewan Ramroop, Rishaad Harris, Justin Guillen, Kieron Pollard.
