Police and WASA in showdown
THIRD-PLACED Police will have a tough task in narrowing the gap with second-placed Crab Connection, in the Sportworld Super League, when they oppose fifth-placed WASA Clean & White. In all, four matches will be contested today from 4 pm. But the focus of the day will be at the WASA Ground in St Joseph with Police, who have tallied 36 points, looking to reduce the deficit between themselves and the "Crabs" to one point. WASA is hot on Police’s heels with 33 points and will also be looking for their 11th win of the season. Fourth-placed Superstar Rangers, who have 33 points but a superior goal difference over WASA, is virtually assured of a win against the table-proppers Media 21 FC at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Mucurapo. At the Trinity College Ground in Moka, Maraval Youth Academy will host PLIPDECO Caroni while Couva Players United will square off against Stokely Vale at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva.
