Jack made to pay US$42 visa fee

FIFA vice-president and Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation adviser Austin Jack Warner was among the first to reach the Piarco Airport on Sunday morning.

And of course he was off the aircraft in a hurry to see that the Trinidad and Tobago football Warriors were well taken care of as they arrived at Manama, Bahrain.

But like everyone else he had to pay his US$42 visa fee to the Bahrain customs officers which he did.

The 13 1/2 hour trip did not sit too well with those travelling to Bahrain, however, all because there were no Carib beers served on the flight.

Instead, all drinks were courtesy the Tahiti airline which transported the team, supporters and newsmen.
