Rev Fr de Loughry to be buried Thursday
Parish Priest of the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes in Maraval, Father Kevin de Loughry, died early yesterday morning, one day after collapsing at celebrations in Paramin. Born on September 4, 1927, in Ireland, Father de Loughry came to Trinidad in 1954, two years after being ordained as a priest in his hometown. He was also Parish Priest at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Moruga, Sangre Grande, Tobago and Cedros. The funeral for the late Father de Loughry will take place on Thursday at St Finbar’s RC Church at 9 am.
