Pensioner killed after car crashes into wall


A 65-year-old pensioner was killed while travelling in a car on the Churchill Roosevelt Highway yesterday.


Police reports revealed that a vehicle was proceeding east along the highway, when on reaching near the office of the Special Anti-crime Unit at 10 am, the driver lost control causing the car to crash into a wall.


Passenger Alexander De Gale died on the spot. The body was viewed by a district medical officer and ordered removed to the mortuary.


Officers of the Valencia Police Post are investigating.
