New format for cricket league
THE 2006 Carib National Cricket League competition will revert to three-day matches on an experimental basis for two rounds in the new season. This decision was taken last Sunday at a meeting with the NCL clubs at the National Cricket Centre, Balmain, Couva. A decision was also taken to start the two-day matches earlier at 9.30 am and end at 6.15 pm. The Sunday League Limited 50 Overs competition will begin on January 14, while the league series will start February 18.
