Still no leads on missing Nigels
POLICE investigations into the disappearance of missing Nigel Allen and Nigel Roderique have hit a dead end. Police said yesterday that several searches and probes have failed to uncover anything substantial to assist in solving the mystery of the missing Nigels. Allen, 32, a mechanic, left his Simpson Brown Terrace home at Cocoyea Village last week Wednesday to collect money from Roderique, alias "Cat." The next day, (Thursday) Allen’s car was found abandoned near the Claxton Bay dump. On the other hand, Roderique’s relatives at Diamond Village said he left home Thursday to meet Allen. Roderique left home on that day with $13,000 in cash. Neither one of the Nigels has been seen or heard from since. Relatives of both men have been conducting their own searches, but they are no closer to finding them, family members said yesterday. Mon Repos and Couva police are investigating.
