Now missing Granville brothers found in grave
MISSING brothers Nigel and Neil Seebran were discovered yesterday in a grave at the back of their home at Syfoo Trace, Granville. The gruesome discovery was made two months after the Seebrans disappeared on November 17. Blood stains and the tyre impression of a four-wheel drive vehicle were the only clues left after the brothers’ disappearance, but yesterday it was their father, Chattergoon Seebran, who dug up the remains of his two sons. Nigel, 23, and Neil, 25, were gardeners, and yesterday police at the scene — less than 200 feet from the Seebran’s house — expressed horror over the killings.
Police investigators said they were probing a report of a dispute between the brothers and a man in the village over money. Police also said that another theory surfaced yesterday — that a hitman was paid $10,000 to kill the Seebran brothers. Chattergoon simply walked down the track leading to a forested area and began to dig the dirt with a fork at about 2.30 pm yesterday. The grief-stricken father told Newsday yesterday that after searching for his sons every day, he had a dream. “I dreamt earlier and I woke up this morning and went down the hill with a shovel.”
Chattergoon had dug a few feet, and there was a foul smell. The father called out to neighbours who eventually dug up the remains. The bodies were lying in a foetal position in the grave with both locked in embrace. Police said the grave was approximately five feet deep. With grief etched on her face, Geeta Seebran, who had pleaded with police and army to search for her sons, said that it was only yesterday morning she poured out grief. “When I woke up this morning, I talk to my sons — Nigel your mudder missing you; help me find you. I can’t take this no more.” She said she had made two cushions to represent her sons.
