Single stab killed Tobago man

AN AUTOPSY by pathologist Hughvon des Vignes yesterday revealed Tobago’s first murder victim Hendrickson “Ranks” Joseph died as a result of a single stab wound to the chest. Joseph, 27, of Coral Gardens, Buccoo was stabbed on Saturday while trying to “protect” a female friend while liming in Canaan. Eyewitness claimed that the woman, an English citizen, was being harassed by Joseph’s assailant and when he intervened, he was allegedly stabbed once below the left breast with a knife. A 37-year-old man was held by police and the alleged murder weapon seized. Police investigations are continuing.
