Mom: Justice will come from God

AS she wept at the funeral for her sons yesterday, mother of murdered brothers Nigel and Neil Seebran vowed that God would deal with those who shed their blood.

"God would give me justice," Geeta Seebran sobbed as she performed final rites at the cremation site — the Shore of Peace on the Mosquito Creek.

As the pyre burned, the grieving Seebran, 62, kept the palms of her hands clasped. She thanked God for the bodies of her sons. Nigel and Neil were dug out from graves at the back of the family home at Syfoo Trace, Granville, last Thursday.

They had disappeared on November 17, 2005. Both bodies, with chop wounds, were found in a single grave by Seebran’s husband — Chattergoon, 65.

Speaking to Newsday at the cremation site yesterday, the murdered boys’ mother said, "I knew my sons were not alive after they went missing for so long. I asked God for my sons’ remains and I got it. It hurts me that they are no longer with me, but I am comforted that they were found."
