Dinner Silence ready to make some noise

DINNER SILENCE and newcomer Ready Set Jet are ready for their assignments on Day 3 of the Arima Race Club 2006 season at Santa Rosa Park, Arima, on Saturday. They showed this in no uncertain terms when they nailed a 600 metres gallop on a sloppy track which was timed in 35.50 seconds. But Fresh Prospect also showcased his form with a masterful gallop over 1000 metres completed in one minute 01.09 seconds. This Freshly Squeezed/Jarana offspring will not be easily beaten in his engagement. And El Guerrouj who relishes the slop was in his element in cruising to a handy one minute 05.87 seconds for the 1000 metres trip.

Another to display his well-being was Horse of the Year candidate Top Of The Class. The 2003 Triple Crown and Champion Stakes winner stepped lively over 400 metres in a good 24.90 seconds. Yet another Freshly Squeezed offspring, Jacobite (out of Bandora), continued to show his improved form with a fluent run over 600 metres clocked in 36.99 seconds. Salute The Colours had Hollywood Heidi for company in a 600 metres spin, clocking the good time of 37.23 seconds. Fresh Wings, winner of his last two starts looks set to continue his winning ways in a good 800 metres gallop completed in 50.63 seconds.
