Man killed on highway

A 50-year-old Chase Village man was struck by a passing vehicle while crossing the Solomon Hochoy Highway, on Saturday afternoon. Reports revealed that Latchman Rupert was attempting to cross the busy highway at Carlsen Field when a vehicle travelling north-bound struck him. He died on the spot. Chaguanas police are continuing investigations.
