Neal & Massy sponsor Caledonia

This was stated by Earl Boodasingh, chairman of Neal & Massy Automotive Limited, at the launch of the Hyundai Goodwill Ball Tour in Morvant on Tuesday.

Boodasingh said Neal & Massy had a long association with Caledonia AIA through their "Adopt a Player Programme".

The company also attended to the the financial needs of the club’s former midfielder, Denzil Theobald prior to his move to Scottish Premiership club Falkirk.

He said that Neal and Massy was deepening their elationship with the club through a sponsorship arrangement.

"Now that the Soca Warriors have qualified for the World Cup Finals, we are very excited to work with Caledonia," he said.

Caledonia AIA placed third last season in the T&T Pro League, behind Vibe CT 105 W Connection and CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh.

The Morvant/Laventille based club is looking to make a bigger impression this season.

Caledonia AIA Fire coach Jamal Shabazz told ttproleague.com website how delighted he was that Neal & Massy has come on board as a sponsor.

"I see this as a timely intervention by Neal & Massy. It is definitely a positive thing for the communities of Morvant/Laventille and its surroundings, at this time we are trying to reach the young people in the communities and stop them from getting involved in a life of crime," he said.

"This sponsorship is definitely going to strengthen our base and will help us to give a much stronger showing in the T&T Pro League, but most importantly, we are going to use this sponsorship to help the youths in the area," he said.

"Its football for all and will be focusing on developing strong youth programmes both competitive and recreational," Shabazz said.
