West Indies ‘A’ 229/7 trail England ‘A’

ST JOHN’S, Antigua:  West Indies “A,” despite a half century from Dale Richards and another good knock of 45 by Sewnarine Chattergoon, were in danger of a big deficit. Replying to England A’s 386 the young West Indians were 229 for seven at the close of the second day of their first unofficial Test at the Antigua Recreation Ground yesterday. At one stage, West Indies lost three wickets for 124 runs by tea time, but battled back strongly, only to lapse again.
