APETT picks new council
Issues discussed included matters arising out of last year’s AGM. New council members were also elected for the 2006/2007 term.
The elections produced a change in the association’s governing body as engineer Mark Francois, the president-elect of last year, became the new president and former vice-president Vaughn Lezama, became the new president elect.
The two new vice-presidents are Earl Wilson and Bill Ramrattan who replaced Lezama and Fasil Muddeen. George Preddie was unopposed and so remains the association’s honorary secretary and he will be assisted by engineers Trevor Townsend and Wayne Loquan, the two assistant secretaries.
Former assistant secretary Trevor De Landro is now honorary treasurer and Jesse Awai now fits the post of assistant treasurer.
