Crime Stoppers... info on killing
“I would guarantee you and I would put hard money on this, that someone knows something...they might have seen a vehicle, they might have seen a person who led that boy away,” Walrath told a breakfast meeting hosted by the TT Crime Stoppers and Chamber of Industry and Commerce at the Hilton Trinidad in St Ann’s.
Walrath said adults can become desensitised to crime but reports about cases like Sean’s were still heartbreaking. Walrath said the “insane, criminal person” who committed the crime could slip and reveal information or someone could overhear.
He said even if people did not put pieces of the puzzle together, they knew something. Walrath implored individuals to be alert and call Crime Stoppers.
“We take that information, we don’t investigate it, but we give it to the proper authorities who can then put the pieces of the puzzle together to catch this animal,” Walrath said.
He made these remarks during the question session after delivering an address on “Our role in the fight against crime.”
