God not a Trini

I am absolutely disgusted about the ever-toothless CoP Trevor Paul suddenly growing fangs and speaking with venom about an investigation into the “alleged lackadaisical” attitude of the police towards Ms Lumfai when she reported her son missing.

Never mind that he did so only because the crime is receiving international media attention due to Sean Luke’s citizenship and all eyes were on the Commissioner.

Never mind that he is fully aware that his officers behave in that manner to people who don’t belong to privileged high class in Trini society. How many times have we heard about investigations into questionable police behaviour? And how many times have we heard the findings, if any.

What low down shame! Shame on every policeman! I am absolutely disgusted that two teenage boys are suspected of committing this heinous crime.

What is even more disturbing is to hear the pleas of their mothers crying that they were “good, normal” boys. And even more disturbing is the fact that they will be tried as minors and given petty slaps on their wrists if at all found guilty in our “lackadaisical” court system.

Where was the blimp? Protecting Martin Joseph’s backyard? I am absolutely ashamed to be a Trinidadian. They say God is a Trini. I think the Devil is one too.
