Monologue contest at NALIS today

Competitors are Ornella Christopher, Cleavas Charles, Alicia Psyche Haynes, Ahmad Abdullah Muhammad, Janelle Francois, May Tuitt, Melvin Stanislaus, Marva Quamie, Roxanne Reid, Sunshyne De Silva, Peter Telfer, Shyann Mejias, George Burch and Megan Walrond.

The competition which is the brainchild of award-winning actor/dramatist, Errol “Blood” Roberts, will be held under the patronage of master artist Le Roy Clarke. From 3 pm competitors will address social topics such as domestic violence, HIV and AIDS, delinquency, issues of the physically challenged and crime, during their six-minute presentation.

The public is invited and invitations can be collected at Studio 66 Art Support Community, #66 Sixth Street, Barataria.
