Karate instructor held

According to reports, the boy who is accustomed visiting the instructor was forced last month to undress and then buggered by the man. Later that night, the child’s mother saw him acting strangely and on checking found blood stains in his underwear.

When she inquired of him, he alleged he was assaulted by the 30-year-old man. A report was made to the San Juan police station.

In an unrelated matter, Morvant police are investigating the shooting of suitcase trader Patrick Nurse who was wounded while plying his trade along Laventille Road when a man walked up to him and shot him in his right palm.

He was rushed to Port-of-Spain General Hospital where he was treated and discharged.
