IT students tour earth station

The earth station is located on the east coast close to the sea and was set up in 1971, at that time it facilitated direct satellite links between Trinidad and Tobago and the US and Europe.

Both students and teachers welcomed the information and were extremely pleased with the level of dedication exhibited by the organisation in facilitating the college in the development of its students.

TSTT’s corporate communications manager Camille Salandy, speaking about the tour, told Newsday, “The company is committed to the development of youths in the various communities and is always ready to assist the public in gaining a better knowledge of its operations.”
