Relatives in the dark over kidnapping

Alexander was abducted last Thursday night while dropping his girlfriend home at David Trace, St Helena. Relatives only heard from the kidnappers when the latter telephoned to make a ransom demand for the safe release of the 21-year-old man.

On Saturday, Alexander’s brother, Jerry, said the kidnappers have not since contacted his family and he is worried. He appealed to them not to harm his brother.

Alexander, the country’s second kidnap victim for the year, is a director at Nakayama Imports, a foreign-used car dealership.
