GUN, AMMO seized

According to report during routine exercise at First Caledonia at about 3.45 pm yesterday a party of officers from the Inter-Agency Task Force being marshaled by Inspector Hasley Garrick, which included Sgt Ian Charles, and PCs Nigel Wilson and Auld were on parol when they observed the man known to them acting suspiciously. A search was made and the ammunition and firearm was found. PC Auld laid the charge.

In the meanwhile San Juan police are investigating the suicide of Tranquility Government Secondary School teenager Michael Kendell Howard, 18, who was found hanging from a piece of nylon thread about 7.45 pm tied under a staircase at his house at Campo Street, San Juan on Thursday night.
