City Treasurer trades her job for NALIS position
Earlier this week, Seudath went on five months vacation leave.
This will be followed by a no pay leave of absence, for a period of two years. Meanwhile, new recruits for the City Police Department have completed their medical and psychiatric testing.
A proposal has since been made to the Statutory Author-ities’ Service Commission for the Port-of-Spain Corporation to begin in-house training of the recruits, prior to their training at St James Barracks, starting next July.
With respect to the Litter Prevention Wardens, it was learnt that insufficient funding has prevented the hiring of new wardens.
However, the programme would continue with the existing personnel.
