CLICO Preysal in Twenty20 final

The right-handed Ramdin struck 31 and shared a third-wicket partnership of 42 with former Trinidad and Tobago middle-order batsman Shazan Babwah, who made 46 not out.

Ramdin hit four fours and one six while Babwah stroked five fours and one six, as Preysal made light work of their opponents, reaching their victory target with 20 balls in the contest remaining.

In a rescheduled contest, PowerGen batted first and tallied 105 for nine in the allotment of 20 overs before Preysal replied with 111 for three off 16.4 overs.

National batsmen Sherwin Ganga hit 37 and Gibran Mohammed, 29 to help PowerGen to their eventual total before Ramdin and Babwah’s exploits formed the basis for Preysal’s victory.

Preysal will meet either Alescon Comet or Queen’s Park who are before the Tribunal Committee to determine the winners of their clash which ended in dispute.
