Jabloteh after second victory

The match will take place from 5 pm at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Arima, while Defence Force face North East Stars two hours later.

With Aurtis Whitley, Cyd Gray and Anthony Wolfe included in Trinidad and Tobago’s provisional 24-man World Cup squad, the incentive is there for Jabloteh to show their depth of quality and class against the players from the sister isle.

And Jabloteh, who got past Starworld Strikers 1-0 last week, can easily record another triumph this afternoon, while Defence Force and North East will be looking for redemption following first round defeats— the Army-Coast Guard combination fell 1-0 to Neal and Massy Caledonia AIA while North East lost 2-1 to Joe Public. Both Caledonia and the “Eastern Lions” Joe Public will meet from 6 pm today at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya, Tunapuna while, simultaneously, United Petrotrin hosts Superstar Rangers at the Palo Seco Recreation Ground.

There is one match carded for tomorrow with W Connection opposing Starworld Strikers from 7 pm at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva.
