Accident victim stable

Cassandra Hope, 19, of Hope Road, Princes Town, was struck by a car at about 8.55 am while she attempted to cross the road by the traffic lights in the vicinity of Skinner Park.

She was knocked unconscious and was bleeding through her mouth. An EHS ambulance rushed her to the hospital where she was treated and warded. Police could not say what was the nature of her injuries. Meanwhile the identity of a man who was killed in similar circumstances at Southern Main Road, Pointe-a-Pierre on Friday night, is still unknown to police.

San Fernando Traffic Branch and Marabella police are investigating the accidents.
