Caparo man stabbed to death

According to reports, around 12:30 pm yesterday, Steven Hackshaw, an Agro Purchaser came home from Easter service at Caparo RC Church and decided to take a nap, when he was assaulted by an assailant at his Carr Trace residence.

Hackshaw put up a fight, but was stabbed to death by the bandit. Neighbours heard his screams and immediately notified the police. Hackshaw’s wife, Jennifer, who was also stabbed during the incident was rushed to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital, and is listed in a critical condition. The perpetrator is still at large. Homicide Bureau of Investigations is continuing enquiries.
