Easter keeps COPS busy

Speed traps and road blocks were set up at various locations across the country but the majority of tickets were given to drivers on the Uriah Butler Highway and the Churchill Roosevelt Highway.

Out of the 310 tickets, 120 were for speeding and the 190 were for other traffic violations. Forty-four were issued on Friday afternoon and 77 on Saturday.

The drivers will attend the Magistrate’s Court in their community on Tuesday morning.
