‘Welcome’ from H2O phlo
During the production of the album, the quartet of Keston, Audie, Fridge and Junior had several successful Carnival seasons performing their “R&B style soca music” with songs like “High On The Dance Floor”, “Come Baby” and “Party With You.”
involved in the project are Richard “Charsu” Ahong— who produced “I Wanna”, “It Must Be Love”, “All Night Long”, “Girls” featuring (Troublesome), “Tonight” and “Party With You,” and Daniel Simpson, who produced “High On The Dance Floor”, “Spanish Girl”, “Sexy Feeling”and “All The Times”. Hemo and Mo Fire of Japan produced “Move Your Body” and Carl “Beaver” Henderson “Come Baby”. Charsu and Simpson collaborated to produce two interludes “Do You Know” and “Beat Box Soca”.
The songs were mixed by Martin “Mice” Raymond, Marka, Charsu and Beaver and the CD mastered at Masterworks T&T. H2O Phlo has grown accustomed to doing good music and the overall CD is a good production with music that could promote Trinidad and Tobago. According to Fridge, “We are talking with foreign labels for marketing and distribution and hope all goes well.”
The quartet is confident that they will get the break they are looking for and sends thanks to all their fans and the public in general for the continued support.
H2O Phlo will perform at the Plymouth Jazz Festival in Tobago this weekend and also has contractual obligations in Jamaica and Grenada later on.
