Mom wants justice for dead son

Marvin Marshall, 19, was shot dead at about 11 pm on Thursday while standing in front of his home at La Horquetta.

Police are yet to establish a motive for the killing.

His mother Sherma Marshall told Newsday yesterday that, as far as she knew, her son was not involved in any gang.

The mother of nine said she never thought any of her children would be snatched away from her in such violent circumstances.

She is calling for swift justice into the killing. Officers of the Homicide Bureau are investigating.
