Zimbabwe, Bermuda battle for title

The Zimbabweans are highly-fancied to win the event, having annihilated the Bermudans by 194 runs in the round-robin phase on Thursday.

Earlier in the week, Zimbabwe hammered Canada by 143 runs while Bermuda edged the Canadians by three wickets.

The matches are being used by the teams as preparation ahead of next year’s ICC World Cup, which will be staged here in the Caribbean.

So far, the Zimbabweans have shown their superiority over their opponents, even though Bermuda have displayed an ability to fight until the very end.

Today’s final will definitely be a keenly-anticipated battle, with the first ball scheduled for 9.30 am.
