Digicel lawyers study TSTT report

TELECOMMUNICATIONS service provider Digicel says its lawyers are studying a report by the UK firm Hunter Associates which claims that customers are paying more with Digicel.

Kevin Barrins, Group Intercon-nection Specialist, said: “It is an extensive report which Digicel and its lawyers are currently studying.

“We have already seen several dubious comments in it and we will respond formally as soon as this process has been completed.”

The company is disputing TSTT’s claims that the report was done by an independent firm.

“Digicel would like to make it clear that the report in question can in no way be considered independent since it was paid for and commissioned by TSTT and is possibly a deliberate attempt at distorting the facts in TSTT’s favour,” the company said in a statement.
