‘Shhh ...

The funniest show for the Carnival season is back for a five-night run in Port-of-Spain. The rib tickling comedy Five Foolish Friends in Shhh . . .it is Carnival is being presented by T?te-?-T?te Theatre at the Little Carib Theatre, Woodbrook from today to Sunday.

Writer Eric Barry brings the Carnival culture to a hilarious high with a collection of short sketches which includes the trials of a hapless masquerader who searches the length and breadth of Port-of-Spain for her band. There’s a Soca Academy where students can learn to be soca stars in just one hour, no talent required; a television cooking programme where the hostess teaches her viewing audience on the benefits of being Fat for Life; traditional Carnival characters who throw away tradition in order to win $1,000,000 in a contest and more.

The cast includes Deborah Maillard, Debra Boucaud, Eric Barry, Kurtis Gross, Alicia Richards and Rondelle Alleyne.

The show begins at 8.30 pm from Wednesday to Saturday and at 6.30 pm on Sunday.
