‘I am Risen’ continues today

Patrons talked about the show afterwards and some of their comments were that they loved the songs — particularly the song between Jesus and Mary Magdelene and the Battle Hymn were proclaimed as simply powerful. The dance choreography and the musical ensemble also received positive commendation; many were surprised at the many instruments used in the performance.

This production by Relevant Theater Production in association with The Evangelisation Commission of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese has brought an opportunity to highlight the Trinidadian contribution to an international piece of work, the music in its timeless application, now has a Caribbean essence.

The show continues today at 6 pm at the Strand Theatre.
