Sahadeo Ramsamooj 12K

The 12k will start from 3.45 pm at Poui Trace Junction, St Mary’s with the finishline at the Moruga Rural Market Site.

Both the men’s and women’s champions will pocket $700 apiece, with $500 for the second place, $400 for third place and $300 for fourth place. The top four finishers in both sections will also receive trophies and medals for their accomplishments. Among the age group categories are Under-16, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60-and-over, with sums of $200, $150 and $100 for the top three finishers in each category. Registration fee is $20 while participants under the age of 16 will only need to pay $15. There will also be cash prizes in the 5k walk, which will coincide with the 12k run.
