We expect more

Free cell phones and jobs were promised to our families but to date nothing. Some of the landowners were paid a lump sum before construction of the towers, but we poor farmers were paid nothing.

In the process of building these towers, quite a lot of bearing fruit trees were damaged, they promised to compensate us for the loss but again, nothing. Copies of the contract that we signed were promised to be delivered to us, again nothing.

They made a promise to pay us every six months. There are times when nine months have passed and if we do not demand payment we will end up with nothing.

There was one guy who kept in touch with us whilst the towers were under construction, but to date he is not answering his phone. Please help us. We expect more.
