Injunction stands against TUCO
The matter was heard at the Port-of-Spain High Court. According to Khalabi, the constitution had been amended, changing the status of some members. The injunction was granted by Justice Carol Gobin on the same day on which the elections were scheduled to be held.
Stollmeyer yesterday ordered that the injunction be continued until determination of the matter, which was adjourned to July 11.
Khalabi was represented by attorneys Thomas Cunningham and Fareed Scoon, while attorneys Theodore Guerra, SC, and Ken Wright appeared for TUCO.
