Williams has been given the task of overseeing the activities of one of the most important online resources used by top international professionals to exchange sales ideas, techniques and management practices and to facilitate important membership transactions, “I consider it an honour to be given this responsibility,” Williams said.

The MDRT website provides access to over 75 years of valuable resources and is a virtual platform for a diverse base of persons across several language groups in the world. Williams earned qualifying and life membership in the MDRT following over 15 years of consistent effort. Since 2001, he has consecutively achieved top of the table status by the organisation.

His past service to the MDRT includes work in several key positions including Vice Chairman — International Membership and Communi-cation (IMCC) for the Western Hemisphere and membership of the constitution and Bye-Laws Committee, Membership and Insignia Committee, Technology Task Force Committee and Productivity Committee.

Williams has also had an illustrious career in the local insurance industry. In 1998 he founded the CLICO Financial Services Centre, which expanded the range of services previously offered to include comprehensive risk management services.

He has also been recognised for outstanding work several times by the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers (TTAIFA). In 2005, he was honoured as the leader of the Best All Round Agency and also copped the Association’s Activity Award for issuing 492 policies that year.
