Facing reality

Let us look at reality. The party has an elected executive that took a decision that no meeting held in UNC’s name must take place without the approval of the Executive. But what did Dookeran do? He went against the Executive’s decision and called an unauthorised meeting and exposed his lack of discipline.

In my many years in various organisations, I have never seen the majority allow a minority to retard the development of their organisation. No powerless minority can change anything and will go nowhere, no matter how long they hang around. What Dookeran must do is cut his losses and move on. If he does not understand that, he must have a talk with PNM’s Dr Keith Rowley.

All those people in and out of the UNC who want to get Panday are after his grass-roots support because none of these budding political parties have grass-roots support.

The only parties in this country with grass-roots support are the PNM and the UNC. Panday has learnt his lesson from NAR. Thy used his grass-roots support to get into Government and as soon as they got in, they started plotting to get rid of Panday.
