PENAL WOMAN GANG RAPED

The woman told police she was awakened by a crashing sound at 9.30 pm. Within seconds, two men entered her bedroom and pounced on her. The victim told police she was beaten about the body.

The report stated that both men sexually assaulted the woman. During the struggle, however, the victim began to scream. Neighbours were alerted and the men escaped through the broken-down front door.

One of the victim’s neighbours contacted the Penal police. The woman was attended to and admitted to a ward, police said.

Penal police are searching for the two suspects. WPC Mayers is investigating.
