‘Trini Vibe’ T-shirts for children

On Monday the TSTT Foundation presented “Trini Vibe / Vibes it Up” Soca Warriors T-shirts to the children. The T-shirts prepared by Catspraddle Creations were inspired by Dennis Lawrence’s use of the expression on the team’s return from the trip to Bahrain.

Camille Salandy, manager, corporate communications of TSTT, made the presentation to the children, who were eager to wear the symbolic red jerseys during the matches of the Soca Warriors at the World Cup in Germany. The first game takes place tomorrow against Sweden.

Salandy said the foundation, the vehicle for TSTT’s corporate social responsibility programme, was extremely happy to make it possible for the children to join in displaying support for the Soca Warriors.

“The foundation remains committed to undertaking caring initiatives among our youth,” Salandy added.

Receiving on behalf of the Princess Elizabeth Centre was Matron Brenda Le Maitre, while Rachael Chandoo accepted the T- shirts on behalf of the Lady Hochoy Home.
