Hidden agenda at TATT?

After reading Mary King’s letter in the Sunday Newsday speaking to the issue of interconnection rates, and remembering that interconnection rates of 45? were agreed between TSTT and Laqtel, which would ensure that mobile prices remain affordable, I am starting to wonder whether perhaps the Executive Director is being dismissed for seeking to protect consumers by ensuring interconnection rates would be affordable, while the Board of TATT is seeking some other interest, and somehow trying to facilitate high interconnection rates (for some other party maybe?).

It would be interesting to see how things develop, but one would hope this is not the case. However, stranger things have happened in the past.
