Ahamad reappointed SWRHA head

In a brief ceremony at Canton Place Restaurant, San Fernando, last week Thursday, Minister of Health John Rahael handed out instruments of appointment to the nine-member board.

The board will serve for a term of two years.

Rahael called on the directors to develop a greater familiarity with the health institutions under their purview. The minister also urged the board members to direct their focus towards activities that would directly impact on improving the delivery of patient care. Returning to office were chairman — Imtiaz Ahamad, deputy Chairman Dr Joel Sinanan, Shahamad Ali, Clive Braithwaite, Johm Commissiong, June Lindsay-Watson, Stephen Mc Clashie and Hyacinth Whiteman.
